Company Bio
Hello. I'm Alan, director of A.Milne Tiling...
A.Milne Tiling began trading in 2010, however I've been in the trade for almost 20 years.
Starting as an apprentice at the age of 16, I quickly became a valued and
productive member of the team. As a result of this I was recognised as Apprentice of the year in 2001!
Further awards followed including:
National Skillbuild Champion 2002, 2003; and TTA award winner for best Newcomer 2003.
I have also received two awards from the Guild Of Tilers and Bricklayers.
Over the past 18 years my tiling skills have gone from strength to strength
and I am highly accomplished in all types of wall and floor tiling
including sand and cement screeding and rendering. I regularly acted as a working foreman managing
projects such as swimming pools, hotels, pubs and restaurants for Parkers on a national basis,
I have also completed a site supervisor course in November 2009.
My Tiling achievements reached a new high in 2008 when I competed and won
the TTA live tiling competition to win the title of the
UK's best tile fixer, it was the main event across the three day Tile And Stone Show Event.
I was up against five other expert fixers some of which have forty plus years
experience and run their own accomplished tiling companies across the UK.
